...Two studies dealt with investigating the sensitivity of PVG diagrams. A first case study compared recordings performed in the morning with recordings performed after work revealing significant changes in vibration behavior. This indicates impact of occurring vocal load due to distincitve voice usage. Left-right asymmetries in vocal fold dynamics were unrevealed and quantified by PVG analysis confirming earlier assumptions suggesting light asymmetries within health laryngeal dynamics. Also, different dynamics between opening and closing procedure as well as for anterior and posterior parts were reported. The authors concluded that constant voice usage stresses the vocal folds even in healthy subjects....
